'Terrible Tales' at the Winchester Hat fair

We want to say a huge thankyou to everyone that came to see 'Terrible tales of the midnight chorus' at the Winchester Hat Fair! It was fantastic to see so many new and old faces in the audience.

The River People at the Winchester Hat Fair

'The Terrible Tales of the Midnight Chorus'

 will be making a 20 minute debut at the

Winchester Hat Fair Friday 2nd, Saturday

3rd (both on the Cathedral Green) and

Sunday 5th of July (on the Arbour)

 

You wont miss us as we are performing

on a wooden wagon stage next to

Spinney Hollow's woodland workshop

stand!

Lilly tour starts in Bath

7th of May saw the start of our

'Lilly through the dark' tour,

beginning with Theatre Royal Bath.

From there we go on to Salisbury on 21st May...hope to see you there!

'Little Matter' performance dates confirmed!

'Little matter' will be performed at The

Hub, Edinburgh as part of The Edinburgh

International Festival on the 22nd and

23rd of August 2010 at 5pm & 6:30pm

'The Ordinaries' revival on hold!

Due to a lack of time to develop it

pre-Edinburgh Fringe, our revival of

'The Ordinaries' has been put on

hold until at least the autumn....but

it will be back as we all love it, its a

case of when...

Chorus' hits the Bedlam Theatre this

Edinburgh Fringe 2010, the show features

a collection of dark stories told by The

Midnight Chorus band, expect live music,

dark folk storytelling and of course a

load of puppetry too!

Awards awards awards...

 

The River People have returned from the Edinburgh Fringe Festival with two awards!

 

A Total Theatre award for 'Best Emerging company', and the International Festival Fringe Prize, which gives the company a small grant to take a new production up to the International Festival next year!
