Little Matter

A work in progress piece created as part of the Edinburgh International Festivals 'Behind the scenes' programme and can be seen at the festival on the 22nd and 23rd of August 2010.

 

Using puppetry, folk storytelling and live music. Little Matter, a performance work-in-progress, explores an individual's place in the universe and the search for the self. This unique take on the meaning of life combines the influences of mythology, quantum physics and William Blake.

Bigadig Dump

'Down at the dump on the edge of nowhere,

little tiny creatures go to sleep in the mouldy air,

they stretch and they groan and they rise with a flourish,

another working day cleaning up your rubbish!'

 

The Gobbletrolls are a group of grotesque creatures that spend thier days clearing up the rubbish and telling stories of the world above them.

 

This is an outdoor theatre piece that was originally created for 'carnival at the castle' 2007
