Puppetry
Puppet Making

In our puppet making workshops participants can learn how to create hand or rod puppets and the basics of operating, at the end of the workshop each participant will have their own puppet to take home.
Puppet MakingThis workshop can run from one to seven days based on requirements, and it can be tailored for ages 6 upwards.

Puppet Operating

In our puppet operating workshops participants can learn how to effectively operate hand or rod puppets. We will bring the puppets with us and go through operating techniques from the basics to more advanced levels.
Puppet Operating at Manchester UniversityThis workshop can be run from one to three days depending on requirements, and it can be tailored for ages 6 upwards
Devising and physical theatre

Participants can learn the basics of creating a grotesque character through play and physical exploration then apply this character to performance.
This workshop can run from one to three days and is best suited for ages 15 upwards.
Devising and storytelling

Discover the storyteller hidden within! We use a variety of techniques to encourage participants to unlock their own potential and to find stories hidden everywhere. Participants can then turn those ideas into short performances, discovering the path from the page to the stage.
This workshop can run from one to seven days and can be tailored for age 8 upwards

Want to know how to start your own theatre company and find out how we made it this far?We have devised a talk filled with all the best advice we could think of to help others wanting to start their own company. Talk is one hour long with Q & A.
